1. How do I set up my Bit Bot?
After purchasing your Bit Bot, you’ll receive a download link and a license key. Follow these steps to get started:
A. Download the Bot: Install it on the computer where you intend to run it permanently.
B. Run the Bot: Once installed, launch the bot and follow the on-screen prompts to configure it. You’ll need to enter your Bitrue API key (see instructions below).
C. License Activation: Enter the license key provided in your purchase email to activate the bot.
2. How do I create and set up an API key for Bitrue?
To use your Bit Bot with the Bitrue exchange, you need to set up an API key. This key allows the bot to communicate with Bitrue to execute trades. Here’s how to set it up:
A. Log in to your Bitrue account.
B. Navigate to the API Management section in your account settings.
C. Create a new API key and name it appropriately for the bot.
D. Important: When setting up the API, ensure you enable Spot Trading but do NOT enable Withdrawals for security purposes.
E. Copy your API key and secret, and paste them into the bot’s configuration prompt.

3. Can I use the bot on more than one device?
Each license is tied to a single device. Once you activate the bot on your chosen computer, the license is bound to that device. If you wish to use the bot on another computer, you will need to purchase an additional license.
4. Can I customize the bot settings?
Yes! You can adjust several settings within the bot to fit your trading strategy, including:
• Order size (buy/sell amounts)
• Price ranges for trades
• Frequency of orders
5. How secure is my API key with Bit Bots?
Your API key is securely encrypted when entered into the bot and is saved to a local encrypted file. We also recommend only enabling permissions for Spot Trading and avoiding enabling Withdrawals to ensure that no funds can be withdrawn from your exchange account.
